"I happen to own a Steingraeber piano which I had purchased new just a few months ago. Now, I'm not a piano technician, so all I can go by is what I was shown and told. Two different technicians who have worked on the hammers of my piano showed me a yellowish discoloration in a very characteristic geographic pattern in some of the Steingraeber's hammer felts. They next demonstrated to me tactilely that this coloration had the crustiness very characteristic of lacquer. Their conclusion was that lacquer had in fact been used by the manufacturer."
Weiß da jemand was zu?
