Mit Rachmaninoffs Biographie habe ich mich noch nie beschäftigt. Das muss unbedingt nachgeholt werden, denn sonst erfahre ich nie, ob er wirklich eine ähnliche Lebenseinstellung hatte wie ich. :p

Was ich eben bei Wikipedia über Rach gelesen habe, passt überhaupt nicht!!! Demnach müsste er eher an letzter Stelle stehen. Habe ich vielleicht Ja und Nein bei den Fragen verwechselt???

Na ja, macht ja nix, die Top 5 ist doch ganz okay. Dvorak wäre ich allerdings auch gerne geworden, denn der ist mir wirklich sympathisch mit seiner Musik und seiner Eisenbahnliebe.

Genauer vielleicht: "The Least Russian of the Russians!" :D ;)

Alternativ wäre auch "The Ballet King" o.ä. denkbar. Oder findet ihr nicht, daß die meisten Leute bei Tschaikowskij als erstes an seine Ballette denken? - Zumindest diejenigen, die überhaut etwas mit dem Namen Tschaikowskij etwas anfangen können... :rolleyes:

Ja, bei Tschaikowski (diesmal so) denkt man als allererstes an die Ballette, keine Frage. Danach wohl an das erste Klavierkonzert und dann vielleicht an die Sinfonien.

Ich werde aber mit allem von dem nicht so recht warm, muss ich zugeben. Ist wohl auch Geschmackssache.

Beethoven ist mir ein bisschen zu hoch gerutscht, aber sonst. Auch wenn ich von Gershwin noch nicht viel bis noch nichts gespielt hab: das, was ich von ihm kenne, gefällt mir.

Das klingt lustig. Das musste ich auch mal probieren. So sieht's bei mir aus:

1. Tschaikowski "The most russian of all" (Passt genau, habe eine kleine Schwäche für die depressiven Russen" :roll:)

2. Debussy (passt auch, hatte schon als Teenager eine Schallplatte mit Stücken von ihm)

3. Beethoven (ja, durchaus)

4. Rachmaninoff (wieder ein Russe :cool:)
